I hold a master’s degree in Sports Ethics and Integrity, with a research focus on athletes’ career transition from competitive sport to post-sport life. My master’s thesis explored the emotional, psychological, social, and practical challenges athletes face during their transition, using qualitative interviews with former elite athletes.
Through my academic and project work, I have developed a strong understanding of athlete support systems, dual-career pathways, career preparedness, and post-sport identity development. My role is to support athletes in understanding their transition needs, reflecting on their skills, and preparing for meaningful professional opportunities within and beyond sport.
