France’s National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance (INSEP) is a public institution under the administration of the Ministry for Sports. Established in 1945, it is both a benchmark elite Olympic and Paralympic training centre as well as a powerful voice in elite sport policy in France. 

Through its unique, modern infrastructure located within an exceptional 28-hectare campus in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes in Paris, INSEP supports outstanding sporting performance in all its forms for elite athletes competing in all sports. The institute offers innovative support and individually tailored training programs medical care, research, psychological support as well as training and professional reorientation.

Every day, athletes’ programs are studied, remodelled and improved through the commitment, motivation and availability of all those working at INSEP. Each year, the institute reiterates its goal of optimizing all areas to maximize the achievement of French athletes, enabling them to reach the top of the podium. 

Based in Spain, Sport Innovation Hub operates internationally, offering expertise in three key areas: R&D and project management, eLearning and capacity building, and consultancy for innovation and internationalisation. Their Hub is built on a selected group of international experts in Entrepreneurship, Sport for Development, and Sport Sciences. 

This structure allows us to provide sophisticated evidence-based consultancy with professors and researchers from some of the best universities worldwide. Their network includes over 500 institutions and experts spanning governance, academia, and sport organisations, fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, and acting as a bridge between research, policy, and practice.

Sport Innovation Hub has gained international recognition in the delivery of sport programmes by providing consultancy, management and development, and fundraising services to many institutions in the sport sector, including cooperating and/or providing services to more than 10 National Olympic Committees (NOCs). Moreover, the organisation has been involved in over 30 European-funded projects, acting as coordinator for their clients or being legally part of the consortium working in the creation of educational content and engaging blended educational modules, reinforcing its commitment to capacity building of athletes.

The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee supports, protects, and contributes to the development of Romanian sports and the national Olympic movement following the provisions of the Olympic Charter; propagates Olympism through training and educational programs; supports the activity of institutions devoted to Olympic education and cultural programs concerning the Olympic movement; acts against all forms of discrimination and violence in sport, as well as against the use of substances and procedures prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Code; ensures compliance with the Olympic Charter, defining, following it, the ethical rules in sports and watching over their application.

The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee promotes the unity of the sports movement on a national level, whose components are the national sports federations, other sports structures, and their legitimate athletes; represents the sports movement with the institutions/ organizations whose object is the direct or indirect contribution to the development of sport or to the implementation of the social functions that are recognized for it; facilitates the settlement of conflicts in the sports movement, through conciliation or arbitration; act in court to defend the collective interests of the sports movement.

The San Raffaele Open University of Rome (UTSR), established in 2006, is a non-state, private, and legally recognized university offering four Bachelor, three Master’s and one PhD degree programs in eLearning mode, through the use of a tailored digital platform provided by the Multiversity Group.

Students (around 17.000 enrolled) and teaching staff (around 90 professors) can access the teaching platform at any time and in any place, breaking down any space-time constraints. To also guarantee a high level of quality to the teaching and learning experiences, the online lessons are integrated with remote synchronous classes, seminars and laboratory activities.

Since its establishment, the online nature of UTSR’s educational offerings has attracted numerous elite athletes, providing flexibility to balance education and athletic commitments. In particular, UTSR aspires to be an online university fostering cross-cultural contamination, inclusion and diversity, aligning institutional strategic objectives to European principles of inclusive education, ensuring students enrolled in academic programs would benefit of high-quality education through an innovative and sustainable teaching and learning approach. The strong research, top-sport, and business network ensures the promotion and dissemination of the sport culture and synergistic actions to foster innovation processes.

The Croatian Olympic Committee (NOC Croatia) is the umbrella sports association in the Republic of Croatia. Its mission is to contribute permanently to the promotion of sport as the universal Civilization legacy, to spread the Olympic principles and ethical norms in sport, to create top-level sports achievements, to promote the Republic of Croatia as a democratic country and to promote fair play in sport. The Croatian Olympic Committee’s task is to protect the Olympic symbols and represent Croatian sport in the International Olympic Committee and other international sports organizations. It counts national sports federations of 42 Olympic, 44 non-Olympic sports, 20 county sports associations and the City of Zagreb and 8 affiliated associations and institutions as members.

The Olympic Committee of North Macedonia was founded on the 29th of April 1992 in Skopje, as an Olympic Committee and a Sports Committee. Its main objective is to communicate the Olympic ideals and implement IOC programs. On the 21st of September 1993, the NOC became the 195th member of the IOC. 

The Macedonian Olympic Committee is composed of Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports federations as well as distinguished athletes and sport administration entities. Several commissions work on various national and international programs. The Macedonian Olympic Committee is the highest sports non-governmental association in which the constituent members are national sports federations of Olympic sports. The Macedonian Olympic Committee is a member and represents the national sports federations in International Olympic Committee. It is organized in accordance with the interests of national sports federations, with the principles of the Olympic movement, the Olympic Charter of the International Olympic Committee 

The main goals and tasks of the Macedonian Olympic Committee are : preparation and participation of athletes from the Republic of North Macedonia in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, development and spread of the Olympic movement in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, observance of the Olympic Charter, spreading the basic principles of Olympism through activities and programs that are realized within the educational and cultural life, development of top sport, development of international cooperation in the field of sports, care for the health of athletes, in particular respecting the medical code of the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The European Network for Innovation and Knowledge is a Foundation based in the Netherlands but working internationally. EUNIK has been formed by higher education and R&D experts, with more than 15 years’ experience working in the international field and with EU Grants management.

EUNIK’s Objectives are; the design and implementation of Research & Development activities, as well as to promote competition with regard to public funding calls; The promotion and implementation of activities and actions to promote digitalisation in the field of education, culture and sport; To encourage international network cooperation between institutions, especially European, profit, and non-profit institutions that require support for the digitalisation of their activities; To provide support services for the network members, associates, and stakeholders.; To bring Educational Management and Innovation know-how to the organisations.

Moreover, EUNIK aims to contribute to the EU and the Erasmus+ Scheme by supporting public and private bodies with their specific needs on knowledge management, eLearning and online education programmes’ implementation, and the digital transformation that will lead the EU to the next generation.
